As Vice President, Strategic Alignment and Chief of Staff for the Office of the CEO, Mark works closely with McDonald’s senior leaders to drive the brand’s most significant strategies and accelerate growth across 39,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries.
Mark joined McDonald’s in 2012 and most recently held the role of Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Global Delivery. In this role, he was responsible for leading global strategic planning and was instrumental in the rapid scaling of McDelivery from a $1 billion business to more than $4 billion in 3 years.
Mark has also held roles in Global Insights, Global Menu Strategy, and US Strategy & Insights.
Prior to McDonald’s, Mark was a Principal and core member of the consumer practice at The Boston Consulting Group. He began his career in PR and marketing for Compaq Computer Corporation, first on the agency side and then in-house.
Mark graduated magna cum laude from The College of William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. He also holds an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago.
