McGill Rocket Team

The McGill Rocket Team isn't an ordinary group of university students. This collection of rocketeers, with nearly unparalleled passion for what they do, is an embodiment of Canadian excellence. The team's list of achievement continues to grow at an accelerating pace, with no sign (and intention) of slowing down. The McGill Rocket Team was founded in 2014 with the primary purpose of providing an environment in which students from any discipline and faculty could study the design, manufacturing, launch and recovery of rocket related technologies. The desired result was to provide an environment that promotes Canadian aerospace engineering and fosters the future leaders of this industry. Today, the team boasts over 250 active members continuously working in service of its lofty mission on both the technical and community outreach fronts. The team also has several alumni who have gone on to be employed at notable institutions such as SpaceX, NASA Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL), RocketLab, Bell Flight, MDA, and Reaction Dynamics.
