Paul Chamberland

Paul Chamberland serves as the Chief Information Officer and Vice-President of Information Technology at McGill University since March 2025, where responsibility includes leading the institution's IT strategy aligned with its academic and research goals. Additionally, Paul is a member of the Board of Directors for both Corporation du Fort St-Jean and Réseau D'informations Scientifiques Du Québec (Risq) Inc. Paul previously held senior roles including Senior Vice-President of Information Technology at CIMA+ and Senior Director of IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security at SAQ. With a strong military background, Paul has held positions in the Canadian Armed Forces, including Chief Information Officer for the 2nd Division of Canada and Senior System Engineer at NATO Communications and Information Agency. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Management Information Systems from Université Laval and a recent post-graduate certificate from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
