James Townsend serves as the Head of Nursing Operations at the McGrath Foundation since May 2017, focusing on program evaluations, government-funded initiatives, workforce analysis, database management, and developing best practice care coordination models. In addition, James has been a committee member for the Community Services Selection Committee with The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust since 2014, aiding in the selection of Churchill Fellows. Previous experience includes a Program Manager role at Youth Off The Streets, where operations and service delivery for youth homelessness services were established and managed. James has also founded and directed two enterprises, Maruca Promotions and J. G. Floor & Design, driving successful revenue models and project delivery in their respective fields. Academically, James holds a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact, a Diploma in Project Management, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Trade Certificate in Floor Coverings and Finishings.
