Chris Chen is an accomplished automation engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently employed at McKay since May 2022, Chris previously served as a process technician at WET Gisborne Ltd, focusing on product quality and production efficiency. Prior to that, Chris worked at Honeywell for a decade, overseeing design, programming, and project bidding as an automation engineer. Chris's career began as a technical manager at Beijing Zhongrunhua Technology Development Co., Ltd, where responsibilities included project design and technical training. Early experience as a technician at Beijing Tsinghua Solar Energy Equipment Co., Ltd involved designing solar water heaters using AutoCAD, with notable achievements in developing multiple types of solar heating systems. Chris holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Automation.
