Matt Walters

Matt Walters serves as the Lead Technology Solutions Engineer at McKinstry, overseeing the development and operation of the Florida Remote Operations Center, and previously managed client BAS systems across over 200 sites. In addition to this role, Matt contributes to the ASHRAE Florida West Coast chapter as the Government Affairs Chair and Diversity Co-Chair, while also leading research efforts on the Technical Committee 7. Prior experience includes positions at Johnson Controls as a Controls Systems Engineer, Marriott International as a lead engineer, and various mechanical roles within the hospitality sector. Matt's educational background includes certifications from edX and Schneider Electric Energy University, along with a high school diploma from Colleyville Heritage High School.
