Chris Taylor has over 25 years of experience in various roles related to customer data analysis, CRM support, marketing data management, and business development. Their most recent position was as a Customer Data Principal Analyst at McLaren Group, where they held previous roles in CRM analysis and support. Prior to McLaren, they worked at Advanced as a Dynamics CRM Support Analyst and at Azzurri Communications as a Marketing Data & CRM Manager. Chris Taylor attended Teesside University from 1993 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Applied Science & Forensic Measurement with a focus on Materials Science. Chris then continued their education at the same university from 1996 to 1997, obtaining a degree in Process Manufacturing Management.

McLaren was the first F1 team to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard in 2010 and has retained it since on a bi-annual basis, most recently in February 2021. The team was also the first in F1 to be given the FIA Sustainability Accreditation Award at a three-star level in 2013 as part of the FIA Environmental Certification framework, before becominga signatory to the UN Sports for Climate Action Commitment in 2021.
