Blake Dillon

Blake Dillon is an accomplished strategic communications professional currently serving as the Strategic Communications Manager for the Institute for Infectious Disease Research (IIDR) and Global Nexus at McMaster University since April 2017. With a strong background in communications, Blake has held various roles within McMaster University, including Communications Officer and Communications & Outreach Officer, where responsibilities included managing communications for special projects and supporting COVID-19-related initiatives. Prior experience includes editorial leadership as Editor-In-Chief at Inside Fitness Media, as well as associate editorial roles at Chill Media Inc. and Nipissing University Student Union. Blake holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from McMaster University and a diploma in Journalism from Sheridan College.
