Gillian Earle

Gillian Earle serves as the Director of Strategic Communications and Digital Engagement at McMaster University’s Faculty of Health Sciences since May 2022, overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive communications strategies aimed at enhancing the Faculty's profile. Prior to this role, Gillian held various leadership positions at Manulife from August 2013 to May 2022, including Director of Global Communications, where responsibilities included strategic planning and execution of integrated communications to protect the company's reputation. Experience also includes positions at Toronto Hydro, where communication strategies for brand management, community relations, and stakeholder engagement were developed and executed, as well as earlier roles at Avis focused on national marketing and communications initiatives. Gillian Earle is advancing education with a Master of Arts in Media, Ethics and Social Change from the University of Sussex and holds multiple degrees and certificates in communications and corporate social responsibility.
