Matthew Miller

Matthew Miller currently serves as the Executive Director of Global Nexus and holds several positions at McMaster University, including Director of the M.G.DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research, Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, Assistant Dean of the Biochemistry Graduate Program, and Associate Chair for Graduate Education. In addition, Miller is a Co-Scientific Director at the Canadian Pandemic Preparedness Hub since February 2023. Prior experience includes a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, focusing on viral pathogenesis, immune responses to viral pathogens, and vaccine design. Education includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology and a Bachelor of Medical Science degree, both from Western University.
