Paul O'Byrne

Paul O'Byrne serves as the Dean and Vice President of the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, where a distinguished career includes roles as Professor and Chair of the Department of Medicine, as well as holding the title of EJ Moran Campbell Professor of Medicine. O'Byrne's academic journey also includes contributions as Adjunct Professor of Respiratory Medicine at The University of Manchester and as a Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. An educational background features a Medical Degree from University College Dublin and several fellowships from recognized institutions, including the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and the American College of Physicians. O'Byrne is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a fellowship in Respiratory Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
