Neil Campbell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in competition and trade law. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Competition and Trade Law practice at McMillan LLP since April 1992 and a partner since 1997, Neil has also held the position of Chair for the Market Surveillance Panel of the Ontario Energy Board from January 2007 to December 2012. In this role, Neil oversaw the monitoring of Ontario's wholesale electricity market and was responsible for producing semi-annual performance reports. Neil's academic credentials include a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School. Additionally, Neil taught a second-year honours course in accounting and finance at Ivey Business School, where several of Neil’s case studies were utilized for instructional purposes.
