Fabien Decrette is an experienced purchasing professional with a strong background in strategic buying and supplier management. Currently serving as a Strategic Buyer at Mecalac since 2010, Fabien oversees a €20 million portfolio across 60 suppliers, significantly contributing to the company's growth by managing the development of new production sites and expanding the product range. Prior to Mecalac, Fabien held the position of Lead Buyer at Volvo Powertrain, focusing on oil filtration commodities and global sourcing for Euro 6 projects, and played a pivotal role as a New Product Introduction Buyer at Caterpillar Inc., leading multiple projects and achieving significant savings. Fabien holds a Master of Science in International Business from KEDGE Business School and a DUT in Mechanical and Manufacturing from Le Havre Normandy University.
