Haoliang (Henry) Zhou, PhD has a diverse work experience in the mechanical engineering field. Haoliang (Henry) founded Mech Solutions Ltd, a Canadian 3D Printing firm, in 2017. As the Founder, they provided research and development, software development, E-commerce, and mechanical design & simulation services. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at OneCAD Solutions Ltd, where they led a project team for Ontario Power Generation Ltd. to create a 3D Solidworks assembly of 4 sections of the OPG Pickering plant. In 2014, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, where they conducted nonlinear modal analysis on an aero-engine using FEA environment and successfully conducted research by collecting and analyzing data.

Haoliang (Henry) Zhou, PhD obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Beihang University in 2009. Haoliang (Henry) then pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Imperial College London from 2009 to 2010. Continuing their studies at Imperial College London, Haoliang completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from 2010 to 2014.
