Kelly Johnston

Kelly Johnston, CTFA, CWS, currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Director of Wealth Management at Mechanics Bank since July 2023. Previously, Kelly held multiple leadership roles at First Republic Private Wealth Management from November 2014 to July 2023, including President of First Republic Trust Company and Executive Vice President of Private Wealth Management, as well as Deputy Manager of First Republic Trust Company. Prior experience includes Senior Managing Director at First Republic Trust Company and Vice President of Business Development at Mechanics Bank Wealth Management. Kelly's foundational career at The Mechanics Bank spanned from August 1995 to January 2010, with roles advancing from Assistant Vice President and Senior Trust Officer to Vice President and Personal Trust Area Manager. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Saint Mary's College of California, an MBA from Texas A&M University, and completed an Executive Education Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
