Umar Khan

Umar Khan possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Manager at MECON Limited, India, since July 2013. Responsibilities include preparing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and design bases for various oil and gas projects, as well as overseeing vendor design calculations and documentation. Previously, Umar held roles as Assistant Design Engineer and Design Engineer, focusing on basic engineering and vendor document approval for pipeline projects. Earlier experience includes a trainee position at CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, where skills in extraction and separation processes were developed. Umar holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering from NIT Srinagar, completed in 2013.
