Mohammed Shaheen

Mohammed Shaheen is a medical professional with extensive experience in various healthcare roles. Currently serving as the Medical Programs Manager at Médecins du Monde in Gaza since November 2022, Mohammed has also held positions such as Mental Health Doctor and MHPSS Technical Supervisor. Prior experience includes being a Medical Doctors Focal Point and Clinical Medical Specialist at Médecins Sans Frontières from May 2018 to July 2022, and a Cardiology Resident at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Additional roles include Internal Medicine Resident at Nasser Medical Complex, Medical Officer at UNRWA, Primary Care Pediatrician at the Union of Health Work Committees, and Internship Doctor at the Ministry of Health in Gaza. Mohammed holds a Professional Master in Public Mental Health from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine from Al-Quds University, with further studies in Global Health and Human Development expected at O.P. Jindal Global University.
