Kevin Thomason

Kevin Thomason is a seasoned leader with extensive experience across various sectors, including environmental sustainability, technology, and humanitarian initiatives. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors and President at Various Community Initiatives since 2009, Kevin has been instrumental in spearheading projects that address community needs and promote sustainable practices. As an International Selection Committee Member for Médecins Sans Frontières, Kevin helps shape global strategies to improve medical support for vulnerable populations. Previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Blue Lion Labs, where Kevin advanced AI solutions for sustainable food and water, and Cleantech and Sustainability Specialist at the Accelerator Centre, providing mentorship for startups. Additional contributions include co-founding PostRank, serving as Communications Technology Officer at Quarry Integrated Communications, and engaging in various roles to promote environmental advocacy and community engagement. Kevin holds a B.A. in Psychology, Business, Marketing, and Technology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a certification from the Institute of Canadian Advertising.
