Emei Burell

Emei Burell is a Senior Narrative Artist at Media Molecule, with a career spanning various roles in the creative industry since 2014. Prior to this position, Emei worked as a Narrative Artist at Media Molecule and as a Freelance Illustrator and Cartoonist, focusing on editorial illustrations, comic commissions, and story consulting. Additional experience includes serving as a Concept Artist for DRAKNEK LIMITED, producing concept art for "A Monster's Expedition Through Human Exhibitions," and background painting for Cartoon Network's animated short "Beetle + Bean." Emei's early professional background includes a Visual Development Internship at Giant Animation and a Narrative Artist Internship with Media Molecule. Emei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Storytelling from The Animation Workshop and has attended multiple educational institutions, including Malmö University and Mälardalen University.
