Steven Taarland

Steven Taarland is a seasoned professional in the video game industry, currently serving as a Senior Producer at Media Molecule since January 2023. Taarland also directs the Next Gen Leaders Program for the IGDA Foundation and has held various roles within the organization since August 2019. As the Founder and Co-Organiser of Rainbow Game Jam, Taarland promotes diversity in gaming through annual events. Previous experience includes producing positions at Double Eleven Limited and Tag Games, with a background in programming and production at Abstraction Games B.V. and Insert Imagination. Notable projects include "Downton Abbey: Mysteries of the Manor" and "Angry Birds Action!" Taarland's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Game Application Development from Abertay University.
