Joshua Blome has diverse experience in software engineering, working in various roles and companies throughout their career. Joshua began their career as a Junior Software Developer at Scientia, LLC in 2014, where they designed and created a Java GUI for a DoD surveillance system. Joshua utilized a fast-paced scrum development cycle and Git version control for this project. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Rockwell Collins, primarily focusing on testing software for a plane's auto-landing control system. Joshua performed MC/DC analysis, designed python test procedures, and created a Python tool to enhance the readability and searchability of test data. Joshua joined Google in 2017 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to various software development projects. Joshua then moved to Mediaocean in 2019, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to the role of Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Software Engineer at Mediaocean as of February 2022.
Joshua Blome earned their Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering and Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they also attended UNSW, but no degree was specified for their studies in Computer Science.
