John Zillhardt

John Zillhardt is an experienced manager and operations officer with a diverse background in both the corporate and military sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of State Public Programs Products at Medica since May 2015, Zillhardt leads a team focused on Medicaid managed care and Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans. Concurrently, Zillhardt holds the position of AMEDD Operations Officer in the United States Army Reserve, demonstrating expertise in logistics and Army Medicine operations. Previous roles include Battalion Commander and Chief of Medical Operations in the MN Army National Guard, where Zillhardt managed training programs and health support operations. Zillhardt also has experience in the banking sector as a Bank Branch Manager at U.S. Bank and has contributed to recruitment and education in military roles. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and completion of the Command and General Staff Officer Course.
