Justin Rippy began their career in 2013 as a Chemistry Teacher for Killeen ISD. In 2012, they attended Texas Tech Paul L. Foster School of Medicine as a Medical Student, where they participated in clinicals, mock patient interviews, and weekly ethics meetings. In 2014, they moved to Conroe ISD to become a Teacher. In 2016, they began working as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston, where they built optical setups, machined custom parts for both optical and ultrasound setups, programmed in MATLAB, C++, and Python, and performed surgery on mouse embryos and adult mice. In 2022, they joined Medical Informatics Corp. as a Software Engineer.
Justin Rippy attended Port Neches-Groves High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a high school diploma. Justin then went on to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Cell Biology and Chemistry. In 2010, they obtained a Texas Educator Certificate from the Texas State Board for Educator Certification. Justin is currently attending the University of Houston, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and is expected to graduate in 2022.
