Justyna Ogonek

Justyna Ogonek, PhD, currently serves as Team Leader and Senior Scientist at Medigene AG, with a focus on innovative technologies in immunotherapy since October 2019. Prior to this role, Justyna was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, specializing in CAR T cell immunotherapy for solid tumors. Justyna's academic journey includes a PhD in Biomedicine from Hannover Medical School, where research centered on cytomegalovirus immunity following stem cell transplantation. Additional experience encompasses roles at various institutions, such as developing and characterizing T cell responses at Hannover Medical School, and contributing to graft-versus-host disease studies at Alcyomics. Justyna's foundational research in cancer development and molecular medicine is backed by a Bachelor's and Master's in Biotechnology from Jagiellonian University and participation in an ERASMUS program at the University of Eastern Finland.
