Richard Coupe has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1996 at Marks and Spencer as a Team Leader and Management Trainee. Richard worked in various departmental positions before attending university. In 2004, Richard worked at TNT as an International Transport Territory Manager, responsible for managing a geographical area and delivering new business objectives. Richard then joined GSK in 2005, where they held roles such as Territory Sales Executive and Key Account Manager, working with clinical and financial decision-makers in respiratory care. Richard was nominated for the Pharma Times awards and won GSK's AllStars during their time at the company. In 2014, they joined ResMed as a Sales Manager, leading a high-performing sales team and working closely with other commercial departments. Richard was also responsible for growing and managing accounts in sleep and respiratory care. Most recently, Richard has worked at Medihive and HasHealth as the Head of Strategy and Growth, focusing on developing growth strategies for the companies.
Richard Coupe has a diverse education history. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from The Open University Business School in 2015. Richard also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management - Executive from Leeds University Business School, which they completed in 2020. In 2021, they furthered their knowledge in marketing by completing a Mini MBA program with Mark Ritson through Marketing Week. Additionally, Richard has obtained several certifications, including a Professional Diploma in Marketing/Marketing Management from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2006, a Certification Diploma in Behaviour Analysis (DISC) and Motivation Factors from TTI Success Insights in 2017, an NLP Master Practitioner certification in Organizational Leadership from the NLP Centre of Excellence in 2013, and various certifications related to leadership, coaching, decision-making, and time management.
