Pietro Parruccini has extensive work experience in the field of financial engineering and quantitative analysis. Pietro began their career in 2007 as a Quantitative Analyst at Mediobanca, where they developed and maintained a proprietary C++ pricing library and a Mysql database with market data interfaces. From there, they advanced to the role of Head Equity & FX Models, where they managed a team and developed pricing models for derivative products. Most recently, they hold the position of Managing Director - Financial Engineering - Equity & FX at Mediobanca. Prior to their work at Mediobanca, they served as a Post Doc at the University of Bologna, where they conducted research on nanoconduction, molecular electronics, and polymer physics.
