Monica Tocchi, MD, PhD has a diverse work experience. Monica is the Chief Medical Officer and Founder of Meditrial Europe, a provider of clinical trial services and electronic data capture solutions for the medical device industry. Monica has been with Meditrial since its establishment in 2008. Prior to this, Dr. Tocchi worked as a Technical Expert for UNI Ente Nazionale di Unificazione, where they served as an expert on European and US regulation and contributed to the development of new standards on clinical trials and medical devices. Monica was also a Medical Director at Donawa Lifescience Consulting from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Tocchi has worked as a Cardiologist at Ospedale San Raffaele from 2000 to 2002, and as a Visiting Professor in Cardiovascular Science at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston from 1997 to 1999.
Monica Tocchi, MD, PhD completed their education at Sapienza Università di Roma. From 1985 to 1991, they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Cardiovascular Science. Following this, from 1991 to 2000, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology. Additionally, they pursued a Fellowship in Cardiology from 1992 to 1995, further specializing in the field of Cardiovascular Science.
