Marc Ramos has extensive work experience in the finance and auditing fields. Marc is currently working as the Financial Director at MEDSIR since February 2023. Prior to this, they spent a significant portion of their career at Reig Jofre, where they held various roles. These roles include Internal Auditor and Head of Capital Markets, where they were responsible for creating the Internal Audit department, establishing compliance processes, creating a risk map, preparing strategic plans, and managing interactions with regulatory bodies. Marc also served as the Head of Tax and Financial Consolidation from January 2015 to February 2018 and as a Project Manager in Corporate Services from April 2011 to July 2015. Marc Ramos started their career as a Senior Manager Audit at Blazquez, Planas i Associtas, S.L., where they worked from January 2000 to April 2011.
Marc Ramos has a diverse education history. In 1996, they attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra where they studied Business/Managerial Economics and completed their degree in 1999. In 2006, they obtained a degree in Auditing from ICJCE. Marc pursued further education in 2012 and 2013, earning a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Esade. During the same year, they also participated in the Value Innovation Programme Estrategia y Multiculturalidad at INSEAD. In 2014, they attended Esade for a Corporate Finance degree. In 2016, Marc obtained a Diploma in Acquisitions of Spanish Small-Medium and/or Family-Owned Pharmaceutical Companies from Qualitec Farma. Lastly, in 2018 and 2019, they completed the Curso Avanzado de Relación con Inversores at Instituto BME, focusing on Relación con Inversores.
