Oliver M. Johnson, II has extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel at MedStar Health since 2010. In this role, Oliver oversees legal matters and administrative functions for the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in Maryland and the Washington, DC region. Prior to joining MedStar Health, Oliver held various legal positions at Merck & Co., Inc. from 1992 to 2010, including Chief Privacy Officer and Counsel for the Global Marketing Services and Vaccine Division, where significant contributions included leadership in legal strategy during major product launches that resulted in substantial revenue growth. Oliver began a legal career as a Litigation Associate at Dilworth, Paxon, Kalish & Kauffman and holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree from Williams College.
