Carly Stephani

Carly Stephani is a legal professional with extensive experience in litigation, particularly in the areas of product liability and commercial claims. Currently serving as Lead Counsel for Core Spine and Biologics at Medtronic since September 2019, Carly manages enterprise-wide defense strategies for various claims, overseeing outside counsel and aligning stakeholders on litigation approaches. Prior to this role, Carly was a Partner at Bowman and Brooke, where defense of product manufacturers in complex wrongful death and personal injury cases was a focus. Carly began legal career as an Associate Attorney at Bowman and Brooke and Bassford Remele, building expertise in pre-trial strategies and litigation management. Educational background includes a Doctor of Law from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and advanced degrees in Social Policy and Business from the University of Minnesota and University of St. Thomas.
