Jinfeng Li has a diverse work experience in the field of computer science and engineering. From 2014 to 2018, they pursued a PHD in Computer Science and Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. During this time, they gained expertise in their field.
In 2014, Jinfeng interned at Alibaba as a Data Mining Engineer intern. Jinfeng worked in the department of data science, where they analyzed user and product features and developed distributed solutions to identify potential customers for various products. Jinfeng utilized Java and MapReduce infrastructure in Taobao for their work.
In 2017, Jinfeng had another internship opportunity at Alibaba.com as a Senior Development Engineer Intern. Here, they joined the BigGraph team, which focused on building an integrated graph platform for both OLTP and OLAP workloads. Jinfeng brought their experience in distributed graph processing to the group and contributed to analyzing different systems such as Timely dataflow, Pregel, PowerGraph, GraphX, GraphChi, etc. Jinfeng also made valuable contributions to the design choices of these systems.
In 2018, Jinfeng joined Megagon Labs as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and later transitioned into the role of a Research Scientist in October 2019, a position they currently hold. Further details regarding their roles and responsibilities in these positions are not provided.
