Seiji Maekawa started working as a Research Associate at Megagon Labs in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a student at Osaka University until April 2023. Seiji also worked as a Research Intern at Megagon Labs from January 2022 to April 2022. In 2020, they had a short-term role as a liaison officer at HottoLink Inc. From April 2019 to March 2020, they worked as a System Engineer at NTT DOCOMO, Inc. Seiji Maekawa also had visiting student positions at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2018 and The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017.
Seiji Maekawa pursued higher education in the field of Information Engineering. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Kyoto University to earn their Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Information Science. Following this, Seiji enrolled at Osaka University from 2017 to 2019, where they completed a Master's degree in Information Engineering, focusing on Maritime Media. Seiji further continued their education at Osaka University from 2020 to 2023, obtaining a Doctorate degree in Information Engineering, specializing in Maritime Media.
