Matthew Bouffard

Matthew Bouffard is a skilled Process Engineer with a diverse background in chemical engineering and production management. Currently serving at MEGI Engineering since October 2024, Matthew has previously worked at Westlake as a Performance Engineer, focusing on brine engineering at a Chlor-Alkali facility, where responsibilities included chemical cost optimization and financial reporting. Prior experience includes managing day-to-day operations at a rPET compounding plant for PolyVisions, Inc., and conducting research on wastewater treatment at the University of South Florida as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Matthew's career began in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate, operating high-pressure equipment to ensure the safe operation of nuclear power systems. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida, completed in 2020.
