Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at Melba Support Services since April 2019, Leanne previously held positions including Human Resources & Payroll Manager at Eco Recyclers Pty Ltd, Human Resources Manager at DiGiCOR PTY LTD, and roles in the Human Resources department at both Klugo Pty Ltd and Headland Machinery. Leanne's expertise encompasses recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations, supported by a Diploma of Human Resource Management. Melba has a proud history of providing individualised support to people living with complex disabilities, their carers and families for over 45 years. Melba was established in the early 1970's to meet the needs of children with disabilities. It also provided a support network for parents, who had nowhere to go for advice and help. Today, services include housing and accommodation, community participation, individual support, facilitating social, education and work capacity building, respite care and a range of other inclusive education and support initiatives. The individuals who use our services are located throughout Eastern and South-Eastern Melbourne. Melba is the FIRST ORGANISATION IN AUSTRALIA recognised by US Based Council on Quality and Leadership, for person-centred excellence "with distinction". Our vision is for individuals with a disability to lead everyday lives, and we are committed to Quality, Human Rights and respecting each individual we support, and their choices.
