David Glimsholt

David Glimsholt is an experienced professional in information management and security, currently serving as the Head of Information Management & Security at Melbourne Polytechnic since January 2020. In this role, David drives the development of information security strategies and oversees incident response capabilities, ensuring alignment with the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework. Previously, as an ICT & Information Security Specialist at Melbourne Polytechnic, David managed the security of information assets and integrated cyber security controls across ICT systems. David co-founded Nemli S.C., where responsibilities included business plan execution and cybersecurity product development, in addition to conducting security audits and training sessions. Prior roles span several years in systems engineering at Axcess A/S and senior technical positions at Telstra, where David managed network projects and led teams. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
