Mansour Saffar

Mansour Saffar is a seasoned machine learning engineer with extensive experience across various notable companies. Currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest since July 2024 and as an ML Advisor at Melodia since April 2022, Mansour has made significant contributions in generative AI as well as music search and generation. Previously, Mansour held the position of Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Unity, where the focus was on developing data-driven solutions for advertising products. Earlier roles include leadership and architectural responsibilities at AltaML, as well as research and teaching positions at the University of Alberta. Mansour holds a Master of Science in Computer Science specializing in AI and Machine Learning from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
