Ganesh Persad is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health information technology and management. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology Applications at Memorial Healthcare System since March 2015, Ganesh has also held roles such as Manager of Clinical Systems and Supervisor of Clinical Systems. In addition, Ganesh serves as the President of the HIMSS South Florida Chapter since June 2018, having previously held positions as President Elect and Secretary. Notably, Ganesh was the Chair of the Florida Health Information Exchange from March 2019 to March 2021. Prior experience includes positions at Hackensack University Medical Center and Walgreens. Educational credentials include a Master of Biomedical Informatics from Nova Southeastern University, a Health Information Management degree from Rutgers University, a Bachelor of Applied Science from Thomas Edison State University, and an Associate of Science from Bergen Community College. Ganesh holds certifications as a Chief Health Informatics Officer (CHCIO) and Certified Digital Health Executive (CDH-E).
