Khalid Almoosa

Khalid Almoosa, MD, MBA, serves as the Regional Chief Medical Officer at Memorial Hermann Health System since October 2007, with roles including Medical Director of the Transplant Surgical ICU and Attending Physician. Previous positions include Director of the Center for Interprofessional Collaboration at UTHealth, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Vice-Chair for Quality in the Department of Internal Medicine. Khalid Almoosa has also held leadership roles in critical care and clinic management at various institutions, including UT Physicians and the University of Cincinnati, where Almoosa was an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the Medical ICU. Khalid Almoosa's education includes a Doctor of Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Cincinnati, complemented by a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the University of Houston.
