Luis Ostrosky-Zeichner

Luis Ostrosky-Zeichner is a Professor and the Memorial Hermann Endowed Chair at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), where Luis also serves as Chief of Infectious Diseases and Vice Chair for Quality. Additionally, Luis holds the position of Chief Epidemiology Officer at Memorial Hermann Health System and directs the Laboratory of Mycology Research. His editorial roles include serving as Associate Editor for the Clinical Infectious Diseases (IDSA Journal) and Senior Editor for the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy. As President of the Mycoses Study Group Education and Research Consortium since September 2018, Luis contributes significantly to the field. Luis earned an MD from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, followed by extensive training at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran and UTHealth Houston.
