Michael Hehman

Michael Hehman, MD, is a highly experienced physician with a focus on emergency medicine and case management. Currently serving as a Physician Advisor for the Department of Case Management and Utilization Review at Memorial Hermann Health System since July 2014, Michael also practices as an Emergency Medicine Physician. Previously, Michael held the position of Trauma Medical Director at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, where important quality assurance processes for trauma care were developed. Additional experience includes serving as Medical Director of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Culpeper Regional Health System. Michael has a strong foundation in emergency medicine from residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and holds an M.D. from Rush Medical College and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
