Peter Killoran

Peter Killoran is a seasoned medical informatics professional with extensive experience in academia and healthcare. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer for Academic Operations at Memorial Hermann Health System since September 2015, Peter also holds positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) since July 2011. Additionally, Peter contributes as an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth since March 2013. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Developer at LogicTools, Inc. and as a Course Director for Outward Bound. Peter earned an MD from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, an MS in Geography from the University of Oregon, and a Sc.B. in Geology-Biology from Brown University.
