Lang Whitaker serves as the General Manager of Grizz Gaming, the Memphis Grizzlies' esports team, while also contributing to Grind City Media since November 2017. Prior to this role, Lang Whitaker worked as a Contributing Writer for GQ Magazine from 2011, capturing NBA-related content, and held the position of Interactive Executive Producer for NBA Digital from 2013 to 2017, focusing on content creation for NBA.com. With extensive freelance writing experience since 2000 for various notable publications, including Billboard, The New York Times, and Sports Illustrated, Lang also served as Executive Editor at SLAM, where the online presence was launched.
