Shouwen Xu is a skilled professional with extensive experience in venture capital and startup operations. Currently serving as a Menlo Fellow at Menlo Ventures, Shouwen focuses on market research and the development of Generative AI applications. As a Mentor at InsurTech NY, Shouwen supports startups in the insurance technology sector. Previously, as Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Amber, Shouwen established the company's vision, business model, and product roadmap. Shouwen also held the position of Chief of Staff at Fusion Fund, where responsibilities included relationship building and advising AI/ML-focused fintech companies. Early career experience includes co-founding TomoCredit, emphasizing financial inclusion through strategy and business development. Shouwen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Peking University and a Master's Degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Minnesota.
