Michael Meadows has extensive experience in the field of mental health and substance use treatment. Currently serving as a SUD Case Manager at ACTION Central since January 2017, Michael works within an ACT model program that supports adults with Severe Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorder in San Diego's Central Region. Previously, Michael held the position of Substance Abuse Counselor and AB109/PC1000 Coordinator at Mental Health Systems from December 2015 to January 2017, where services focused on adult populations, AB109 probation, Prop 36, and PC1000. Michael's professional journey began with an internship as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at McAlister Institute for Treatment & Education from July 2015 to December 2015. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences and an AODS Certificate of Achievement in Alcohol and Other Drugs Studies from San Diego City College.
