Matthijs Heinemans has extensive experience in supply chain planning, currently serving as a Supply Chain Planner at Mepal since November 2012. Key responsibilities include optimizing inventory management, planning procurement needs, addressing process bottlenecks, and providing critical sales support for commercial negotiations. Previous roles include internships and project work at Voortman Steel Machinery, Svedex, Howden Netherlands B.V., and Nijha b.v., where Matthijs focused on supplier reduction, logistics and technical analyses, and operational optimization. Matthijs holds a CPIM certification from APICS Northern Colorado and degrees in Technical Business Administration and Business Economics from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
