Andres Bernasconi

Andres Bernasconi is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product development and IT leadership within the fintech sector. Currently serving as SVP of IT and Product Development Fintech at Mercado Libre since May 2019, Bernasconi has previously held roles including VP of Product Development Fintech and Sr. Director of IT for MercadoPago. Prior to Mercado Libre, Bernasconi co-founded IguanaFix and served as CTO at Vostu, where responsibilities included building a large technology organization for a leading social gaming developer in Latin America. Bernasconi’s career also includes positions at Globant, Electronic Arts, Accenture, Verizon Business, and Boehringer Ingelheim. Academically, Bernasconi holds a degree in Software Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and completed executive education in Business Administration at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
