Patrick Nugent

Patrick Nugent is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management, community engagement, and event coordination. Currently serving as a Recreation Assistant for the City of Mercer Island Parks & Recreation since March 2022, Patrick coordinates athletic field rentals and manages indoor facility bookings. Prior roles include Executive Director of Solar Washington, where Patrick navigated challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and developed a solar-focused annual industry conference. Additional experiences encompass managing the Carnation Farmers Market, improving operations at Blue Earth Alliance, and enhancing communications for various organizations including the Seattle Music Teachers Association. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Hillsdale College, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington, and a Web Design Certification from Bellevue College.
