Julia Schmidt

Julia Schmidt has extensive experience in global mobility and strategic projects, currently serving as Associate Director of Strategic Projects in the CEO Office at Merck Gruppe since October 2017, where responsibilities include managing over 600 international relocations annually and leading a team of Global Mobility and Immigration Professionals. Julia also held roles such as Head of Global Mobility Services and PMO for Global Total Rewards at Merck, contributing to automation and strategic project management within the organization. Prior to Merck, Julia worked as a Senior Associate at KPMG Deutschland, overseeing international assignments and advising corporate clients on mobility-related trends. Julia's earlier experiences include positions at BMW in India and China, with a solid academic foundation that includes a Master of Management from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Munich Business School.
