Suneela Thatte

Suneela Thatte currently serves as Vice President and Head of Healthcare R&D India at Merck Group since October 2021, leading the establishment and growth of the Healthcare R&D Hub while leveraging best practices and talent from India. Prior to this role, Suneela held the position of Vice President and Head of R&D Solutions India at IQVIA from April 2013 to October 2021, where responsibilities included managing the R&D Solutions Business, overseeing P&L, and leading business and regulatory strategies. Suneela has extensive experience with Quintiles Research (India) Private Limited from August 1998 to March 2013, serving in various roles including Executive Director of Customer Operations, and has a strong background in clinical operations. Suneela holds an MBA from Tasmac School of Business and a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mumbai.
