Mark Mowery

Mark Mowery is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Analytical Chemistry in Development & Supply at Merck since April 2008. In this role, Mark leads a global organization focused on late-phase analytical development and commercialization of small molecule pharmaceuticals, overseeing critical functions such as method development, registration stability studies, and regulatory strategy. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Executive Director for Analytical Development and Commercialization, as well as Director of Analytical Sciences, where responsibilities included early-phase drug development and technology transfer. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Director at Patheon and Research Fellow at Merck. Mark earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a BA in Chemistry from Transylvania University.
